Since the lockdowns started a new trend has emerged on social media: doing your own bateria! It seems like a lot of people miss jamming with their friends, so they decided to jam with themselves.
There’s an app called Acapella Maker which allows you to record and synchronize multiple videos, allowing you to play different instruments simultaneously. There are both a free and paid version of the app.
You can also try to record and edit all the footage yourself using tools like Adobe Audtion and Premiere Pro. It takes a lot more time, but the result looks more professional (like the first two videos below).
The first video is my favorite, several renowned Angoleiros from all over the world all worked together to create a single video with the message to #stayathome. Great job on syncing all videos as well, the result is amazing!
